all about Annual Meeting!
that time again – time for imaging specialists across the state to come together for a time of networking, learning,
and re-energizing! In other words, it’s time for the 84th Annual Meeting & Clinical Symposium! If you haven’t
heard, Annual Meeting this year will be at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, TX on March 11th & 12th.
like the popular song, Friday is “All About the Student”! We’re
bringing the future of TSRT into the spotlight for the day! We want our students to have fun and see that we support them
outside of the clinical setting. We have made Saturday “All About the Tech” as we focus on the education needs
for technologists. We are offering 12 hours of instructor lead presentations. Attend all the classes or just a few. It’s
up to you!
make plans to attend the special sessions as well as the Business Meeting that will be held on Saturday. Your input is important
to us, and sometimes the best way we can resolve issues and answer questions is face-to-face in these sessions.
you are an educator, please plan to attend the Alliance for Educators on Friday evening. The hot button issue is the move
to the Texas Medical Board. Also the beginning of our student leadership program and how to get students more involved.
you can see, a lot of things are happening at this year’s Annual Meeting! We need your voice to continue affecting issues
facing imaging specialists across our state and to strengthen our organization. We hope to see you there!

the convention fast approaching, our President Elect, is preparing for his role as President.
We encourage everyone to attend the Business Meeting on Saturday to hear the Message from the President of TSRT. Brian Rich will be presenting his goals for TSRT 2016-2017. Come spend time with him and start networking with the future leader of TSRT.

Texas Radiologic Technologist Society is getting ready for their Top 25 event. Jeniesa
Johnston, Northeast Area Counselor, will received the Living Legend Honor. We
are proud of her!!!

TSRT 2016 is just around the corner! Registrations
are coming in! We hope all of our members experience the Best of TSRT at TSRT
2016! Take advantage of the convention highlights during the 84th
TSRT Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposium. RT’s will invade Forth Worth
during the second weekend of March for the 2016 TSRT Annual Meeting. This two
day event is designed to provide every RT with countless continuing education sessions, professional networking opportunities
and the opportunity to view the latest products at the TSRT Expo. We’ll
see you in Fort Worth!
